1920s ERA STEIFF RATTLE BEAR WITH BUTTON.

This sweet Teddy is 5-ways jointed and made from golden mohair. He does not have any paw pads or claw stitching. His baby-like face is detailed with black and brown glass pupil eyes and a black hand embroidered nose and mouth. He has a rattle feature, which Steiff made by inserting a tube filled with beads in his torso. He really is a little darling. Ted retains his long trailing “F” button and traces of his red ear tag as his Steiff IDs. SIZE: Overall 5″ t (12cm). Sitting 4″ (10cm). PROVENANCE: Chuck & Cathy Steffes Collection.
