SN 2385f. Cal. 9 mm. 5″ bbl. Marked “P.38”, “svw/45”, SN on left side of slide. WaA135 inspected. Matching SN’s on bbl, frame, and slide. Black grips. This gun is explained on p. 35, pictured on p. 36 of The P.38 Pistol, Vol. II by Warren Buxton. “P.38v” marked magazine. Accompanied by black holster. Back of holster, flap, and magazine pouch appear to be pressed cardboard. Front body and strap are leather. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good, with a majority of late war German grey finish. Slight discoloration with extremely light pinprick pitting at front of slide on right side. Gun shows honest wear. Grips have light handling marks. Excellent bore. Excellent working order. Holster is solid with scuff marks to leather. Slight amount of green paint on top of flap.
