ROCOCO REVIVAL CARVED OAK OVAL DINING TABLE.

Third quarter 19th century, possibly New York. The oval top with beveled edge fitted with four additional leaves joined to a faceted split pedestal base profusely carved with foliate fruit clusters, each leg applied with square variegated green/black marble appliques. SIZE: 27-1/2″ h x 58″ l x 52″ w. Three leaves 18-1/2″ w x 52″ l. One leaf 9-1/2″ w x 52″ l. CONDITION: Table retains original surface, somewhat soiled with undisturbed patina on base, top somewhat lighter due to frequent cleaning and use. Minor nicks and small losses to leaf tips on base, otherwise good. NOTE: Three leaves are constructed of pine with oak molded edges. 50647-1 (800-1,200) – Lot 3082
