ELABORATE CARVED VICTORIAN ÉTAGÈRE WITH CARVED MAIDEN HEAD.

Third quarter 19th century. This fine American example surmounted by pierce carved crest of scrolling vinery centering a female mask within a carved crest above a conforming molded cornice supported by pierced scrolling brackets. The central tombstone mirror within a molded surround flanked by three pair of shaped shelves all with pierced supports and shaped mirror backs. Base fitted with a D-form white marble shelf and molded edges above the conforming base fitted with a central drawer, the whole raised on spool turned feet. SIZE: 8′ 6″ h x 48″ w x 15-1/2″ d.
