CIRCA 1920s WHITE MOHAIR BING TEDDY BEAR.This pensive and precious teddy is 5-ways jointed and solidly stuffed. She has a long and distinctive torso and narrow shoulders; these proportions are a bit unusual for her time of production. Her white color has darkened just a bit over time. She has relatively short arms with curved wrists, straight legs, and feet with rounded soles. She has four claws on each paw. Her face is detailed with brown and black pupil eyes, which have been back painted, and a brown hand-embroidered nose and mouth. SIZE: Overall 20″ t (50cm). Sitting 14-1/2″ t (37cm). PROVENANCE: Chuck & Cathy Steffes Collection. CONDITION: Slight mohair thinning and a touch of playwear. Pads replaced.
