HANDSOME AND IMPRESSIVE LARGE BROWN MOHAIR BING BEAR.

Teddy is 5-ways jointed and made from brown mohair which has taken on a slightly coppery patina with time. Bear has flesh colored pads and black hand-embroidered claws on each paw. Feet have distinctive rounded quality to them. Teddy has prominent back hump. His soulful face is detailed with brown and black back painted glass pupil eyes, a trimmed muzzle, and a black hand-embroidered nose and mouth. You can see just a touch of the orange felt that underlies the nose stitching. SIZE: Overall 27″ t (66cm). Sitting 18″ t (46cm). PROVENANCE: Chuck & Cathy Steffes Collection.
