KASVIN ORIENTAL CARPET, CENTRAL PERSIA.Mid-20th century. The ivory poled medallion on a crimson ground within scrolling ivory and pale blue spandrels within an ivory main border of polychrome flower heads all within multiple ivory and pale indigo guard borders filled with floral trelliswork. The whole with dense pastel floral sprays. SIZE: 9′ 8″ x 18′ 5″. CONDITION: Areas of wear at each end of carpet exposing foundation. The ends additionally with overall fading, otherwise carpet retains good pile. An evident tea brown stain in outer guard border 5′ from end of rug. 51637-12 (800-1,200) – Lot 3075
