TWO HAIDA ARGILLITE FIGURES.Late 19th century. 1) Smaller woman nicely carved, almost folk-art quality carving of possibly a white lady with full dress with bun hairstyle. 2) Finely carved depicting Haida woman with labret in mouth, carved necklace, crossed arms, pleated skirt and elaborately carved hair. Bottom is hollowed out with crudely carved feet. SIZE: 1) 6-7/8″ t x 3-1/4″ w. 2) 7-1/2″ t x 2-5/8″ w.
