VINTAGE MENTHE-PASTILLE POSTER BY LEONETTO CAPPIELLO (French, 1875-1942).

Large colorful poster shows a satyrs bust on stand drinking from two straws from a wine glass. The statue is seen in a garden setting under moonlight. The colorful lithograph is housed in a black frame behind plexi-glass. Titled at bottom “Menthe-Pastille”, “Liqeur, E. Giffard, Angers”. Signed in the print by the artist. In the bottom margin “Imp. P. Vercasson & Cie, 43. Rue De Lancry, Paris”, “Reproduction Interdite”. SIZE: Sight 78-1/4″ h x 50-1/2″ w. Overall 82-1/2″ h x 54-1/2″. PROVENANCE: From the personal estate collection of Michael Urioste of Gadsden Alabama.
