1) WALTHER WSM. SN 39190W. Cal. .22LR. 25-1/2″ round bbl. Military style front sight and 200m tangent rear. Sgl shot receiver is marked with maker’s legend and “BUG” proof marks. Military style trigger and safety. Plain military style walnut stock with sling provisions and factory cleaning rod installed. SA cartouche stamped in right side of stock. Smooth military style steel buttplate marked “3/106”. Composition trigger guard is checkered. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Excellent. Gun retains 95%+ blue finish with some thinning at the muzzle and high edges and some light scattered pitting near the muzzle. Stock retains most of its orig finish with light to moderate handling wear. Buttplate is excellent. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is bright. C&R 2) WALTHER SPORTMODEL. SN 56045. Cal. .22LR. 25-1/2″ round bbl, Walther marked flip up muzzle guard and front sight protector. Military style front sight and 200m tangent rear. Sgl shot receiver is marked with maker’s legend, “Deutsches Sportmodell” and “BUG” proof marks. Military style trigger and safety. Plain military style walnut stock with sling provisions and factory cleaning rod installed. Silver plaque installed in right stock reads “Reichswettkampf der SA 1935/ dem besten Reservesturm der Gruppe ‘Kurpfalz’ Sturm 2/R168 als Anerkennung von der Standarte R168”.
