TWENTY-ONE PIECE GROUP OF DEDHAM POTTERY.

1st half 20th century, Dedham, Massachusetts. Group includes; a 12-1/2″ diameter x 3″ h, rabbit bowl with everted rim and flat bottom, with tight vertical hairline running from edge of top rim to within 1″ of foot rim, otherwise good. A 9″ diameter x 3-3/4″ h, rabbit bowl, very good. 5″ h, rabbit mug with unglazed bottom, top rim with roughness on edge from firing, glaze absent. 3-1/4″ h, rabbit creamer, small firing imperfections in mid band otherwise good. 4-1/2″ diameter x 2″ h, rabbit bowl, very good. Six 10″ plates, one turkey, two rabbit, and one berry pattern, generally good, berry plate with small fleck on edge. 7-1/2″ diameter, rabbit plate, very good. Three 8-1/2″ diameter, rabbit plates, two very good, one with slight discoloration, otherwise good. 8-1/2″ iris plate, very good. Six 10″ diameter, rabbit plates, generally very good. 10″ diameter, magnolia plate, chips on foot rim, otherwise good. All pieces with Dedham mark in underglaze blue, except for mug with unglazed bottom. CONDITION: As noted above. 51623-1 (700-900) – Lot 3059
