China, 20th century. The first a carved agate bottle with a relief design of figures on each side including two in a boat. Comes with wood stand. The second a small colorful glass overlay design with fruit growing from blossoming branches. SIZE: 2″ h and 1-3/4″ h. PROVENANCE: Estate of a Midwestern Public University Chancellor who died in the late 1930’s. This Chancellor was invited to speak in China in 1930s, and visited Japan and India where he acquired this item. CONDITION: Glass bottle with chip to overlay. 49918-4 (600-800) – Lot 3058
