SN 70G97571. Cal. 45 ACP. Bright nickel finish. Right slide marked “Colt’s Government Model”, bbl marked “Colt 45 Auto MKIV/Series 70”, left slide marked “Colt’s MKIV/Series 70 Government Model 45 Automatic Caliber” with Rampant Colt. Upper left trigger guard bow marking indistiguishable, lower trigger guard bow has “VP”, right upper trigger guard bow marked “B”, mag marked “Colt 45 Auto”. Stocks are full checkered walnut with Colt medallions in the center. Front sight is serrated back tapered medium wide, rear sight is non-adjustable square notch. Front grip strap is plain. Arched serrated mainspring housing lacks lanyard loop. Wood grained cardboard box with proper SN, and Styrofoam insert with instruction sheet, orange hang tag, and Colt advertisement. CONDITION: Near new with very slight scuff marks on right side, take down scratch on left side. Box is tattered missing rear flap. 51176-12 KXK (1,500-2,500) – Lot 3048
