Period large button Heiser of Denver holster. 1-1/2″ wide carry belt with dual drop pouch with unsigned nickel buckle and snaps. Has custom high visibility front sight with bead and inletted white metal half moon in rear of sight groove to improve visibility in low light. This Smith & Wesson was a gift from famed shootist and exhibitionist Mr. Ed McGivern, the author of Fast and Fancy Revolver Shooting, to Calvin A. Robinson upon his election as sheriff of Flathead County, MT, in 1933. CONDITION: Good overall, with much blue finish remaining on frame and backstrap.
