WARREN MCARTHUR LABELED LOUNGE CHAIR WITH ARMS.

1933 and later, Rome, New York. Probably a variation of the 1933 “Biltmore” chair originally designed for use in the Biltmore Hotel, Phoenix, AZ. This design with rectangular upholstered back above an elongated conforming cushion seat, set on a signature aluminum tubular banded seat frame with hard rubber circular fitted arm rests and similar discs mounted on the lower front and rear seat frame, which serve as rolling casters. Each chair with the original blue paper Warren McArthur, Rome New York, label. SIZE: 32″ h (at back), 16″ h (at seat) x 23″ w (overall). CONDITION: Structurally very good, brown fabric upholstered without stain or blemishes, rear two roller casters worn and split, front casters functional. 50567-69 (1,000-2,000) – Lot 3031
