LARGE COLLECTION OF CIGARETTE LIGHTERS AND SMOKING RELATED MATERIAL.

19th and 20th centuries, international. The group includes several novelty lighters in the forms of cameras, bottles, pens, cell phone, animals, hammer, etc. Also included is a group of ten brass and copper WWI trench lighters including French and American examples. Also included are various pocket lighters of the period. Additionally, there are five cigarette dispensers including a standing elephant, European marquetry box, a marquetry cigarette dispenser with heron and an English oak silverbound house form dispenser. SIZE: Lighters assorted sizes. Elephant dispenser: 5-1/2″ h x 9″ l. Marquetry dispenser: 4-1/2″ h x 6*-1/4″ l x 4-3/4″ d. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Morris Racker. CONDITION: Generally good overall. The lighters displayed in five trays fitted with glass tops. Most lighters appear functional. Cigarette dispensers all with original surface. Mechanically and structurally intact.
