The group includes several novelty lighters in the forms of cameras, bottles, pens, cell phone, animals, hammer, etc. Also included is a group of ten brass and copper WWI trench lighters including French and American examples. Also included are various pocket lighters of the period. Additionally, there are five cigarette dispensers including a standing elephant, European marquetry box, a marquetry cigarette dispenser with heron and an English oak silverbound house form dispenser. SIZE: Lighters assorted sizes. Elephant dispenser: 5-1/2″ h x 9″ l. Marquetry dispenser: 4-1/2″ h x 6*-1/4″ l x 4-3/4″ d. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Morris Racker. CONDITION: Generally good overall. The lighters displayed in five trays fitted with glass tops. Most lighters appear functional. Cigarette dispensers all with original surface. Mechanically and structurally intact.
