Circa 1907, hard stuffed, 5-ways jointed Steiff bear made from gold colored mohair. Teddy has early and traditional Steiff proportions including a pronounced back hump, long arms, and long narrow feet. His face is detailed with black shoebutton eyes and a black hand-stitched nose and mouth. Teddy has four claws on each paw. Comes with satchel added later. Teddy retains his trailing “F” Steiff button as his ID. Adorable face and personality. SIZE: Overall 13″ t (34cm). Sitting 9″ t (22cm). PROVENANCE: Chuck & Cathy Steffes Collection.
