NICE FOLK ART COLLECTION OF ERZGEBIRGE BUILDINGS, ANIMALS, AND TREES.

First half 19th century, Germany. The Erzgebirge region of Germany was the largest Christmas item and toy supplier in the world in the 1800’s and early 1900’s. The pieces arranged in five tableaux on rectangular platforms, all with hand painted details. SIZE: Largest: 3-3/4″ h x 16″ l x 4-3/4″ w. CONDITION: All nicely hand painted with normal expected in use wear with pleasing palette and patina. Several building are missing their chimneys. One tree missing its crown, and some minor losses to thatched roof. Very good overall. 52308-11 (500-600) – Lot 3016
