**COLT MODEL 1921AC THOMPSON MACHINE GUN – ONE OF CONSECUTIVELY NUMBERED PAIR OFFERED (CURIO & RELIC).

SN 7061. Cal. 45 ACP. 10-1/2″ bbl. This fine Colt Thompson retains its orig 1921 parts and is remarkable besides being a nice Model 1921 as it is one of a consecutively numbered pair being offered in this auction. This specimen is fitted with an unmarked “cutts” compensator with 4 slots, and includes one 30 rnd U.S. Cartridge Co. magazine. Matching numbered upper and lower. Remington anchor proof mark at front of buttstock. Bolt moves smoothly and under proper tension when operated by hand. This weapon appears fully functional. This is a National Firearms Act item and requires BATF approval prior to transfer. This item is fully transferable on an ATF Form 3 or Form 4 as Curio & Relic eligible. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish fine to extremely fine with about 90% orig blue finish worn to gray metal at high points on both sides of the compensator and thinning at high edges and where actuator contacts the slot. Bore is also extremely fine, shiny & bright. Wood has some very light handling marks with a couple of small chips and one pencil point ding on the left side of the buttstock below the rear sight. Magazine retains about 50% of its finish with some light pitting and loss of finish. If you’re going to have a Colt Thompson in its most classical, recognizable configuration this would be a good candidate. 50450-1 JWK35 (25,000-45,000) C&R – Lot 3015
