Teddy is made from white mohair which has mellowed gently over time. Teddy is firmly stuffed, 5-ways jointed, and has cream colored felt paw pads. Four brown hand-embroidered claws on each paw. Teddy’s face is detailed with brown and black glass pupil eyes and a brown hand-embroidered nose. Teddy retains his larger trailing “F” button as his Steiff ID. SIZE: Overall 18″ t (44cm). Sitting 12″ t (30cm). PROVENANCE: Chuck & Cathy Steffes Collection. CONDITION: Tiny hole in felt in left paw pad, gentle surface wear to right foot pad.
