*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 TAKEDOWN 2-BARREL SET. Cal. 30WCF and 25-35. Scarce 2-bbl set with 26″ oct. bbl, full magazine (30-30) and 26″ round bbl, full magazine (25-35), uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent steel buttplate. Oct. bbl has half-nickel front sight with 3-leaf platinum line express sight. The round bbl has standard open sights, the rear has been slightly modified and the bbl is mounted with target scope blocks. SN 238560. CONDITION: The oct. bbl retains 85-90% thinning original blue, round bbl retains 50-60% thinning blue with the balance turned silver. Receiver retains about 50% thin original blue. Wood is sound with an old refinish. Oct. bbl has strong dark bore. Round bbl is bright and shiny. 4-46529 JR82 (1,500-2,500)
