Depicting a Samurai and his lady with full regalia, by Kunisada, nicely framed and matted. 2) Depicting Samurai with paper and calligraphy brush in full regalia, by the artist Kuniyoshi, unframed. 3) Seated Samurai with flowing robes, by the artist Kuniyoshi, unframed. 4) View of Moronao given the option of Seppuku from the series “Chushingura-Loyal League of the 47 Ronin”, by the artist Toyokuni (Kunisada), unframed, printed in 1844. SIZE: 1) Surimono tate-e. Block size 7-3/4″ x 7″, 19.69cm x 17.78cm. 2) ōban tate-e. Block size 14″ x 9″, 35.56cm x 22.86cm. 3) ōban tate-e. Block size 14″ x 9″, 35.56cm x 22.86cm. 4) ōban. Block size 9″ x 13-3/4″, 22.86cm x 34.93cm. PROVENANCE: From a Maine collection. CONDITION: 1) Very good with minor staining, margins unavailable to be observed, not examined with out frame. 2) Minor background stains and slight losses to edges. 3) Very good with slight discoloration, repaired loss on left edge and small loss to upper right corner. 4) Very good, margins intact, minor fold upper left corner, bright and clean image. 9-94614, 9-680, 9-94634, 9-94633 (200-300) – Lot 2708
