Mid to late 19th Century American. The pine shield,cut from a single board with molded edge marked “UNION” within the blue field above red and white stripes. The border in chrome yellow and black. Retains original paint with reminiscence thin varnish overcoat. SIZE: 20-3/4″ h x 23″ w.
