TWO VICTORIAN MARBLE TOP WALNUT FERN STANDS.Third quarter 19th century, American. The first, an Aesthetic example with grey and red marble top set within molded surround, joined to a ring-turned vasiform standard, joined to square scrolled supports continuing to downturned chamfered legs raised on carved claw feet. The whole with gold trim incised decoration. The second stand with white marble top set within molded surround joined to a turned standard, now reduced in height, raised on outswept molded scrolled legs. SIZE: 1) 29″ h x 16″ d. 2) 18-1/2″ h x 15″ d. PROVENANCE: From a Maine/Texas estate being sold unreserved. CONDITION: First with original surface. Very good overall. Second with repair to molding on top edge. Reduced in height as stated, otherwise good. 51358-3 (200-300) – Lot 2625
