ENGRAVED POCKET NAVY CONVERSION REVOLVER. SN 20000 / IE, all matching numbers except grips, which are not numbered. Cal. .38 RF, 4-1/2″ oct. bbl. Frame and bbl engraved and light scrolls with no background. Hammer had wolves heads on the side but both had been defaced with the addition of the firing pin. Grips are probably replacements but in very fine condition. Although the serial number “IE” calls for ivory grips an original pair of walnut grips carrying original serial number of the gun accompanies the lot. CONDITION: Gray-brown patina overall with light dents and scratches. 4-46342 FS90 (2,000-3,000)
