Early 20th Century, American. The rectangular canted back with round crest rail on bentwood supports joined to slightly S-curved bentwood arms centering the back and seat comprised of half-round closely spaced oak slats. Raised on 6 bentwood legs of cabriole design with Bentwood stretchers and supports. The original painted decoration in mustard and red paint consisting of a design of narrow red panels within delicate scrolling lines. SIZE: Height of back: 33-1/2″ Height of seat: 19″ Length: 63″ Approx depth: 26″ CONDITION: Structurally very good with old original surface and good mellow patina. 49922-25 (700-900) – Lot 2612
