UNUSUAL CHINOISERIE DECORATED TILT TOP TABLE.

Early 19th century, China trade. The rectangular top with rounded corners decorated overall with a scene of hunting. The central bowman flanked by observers in a treed landscape. Hinged and tilting on a swelled cylindrical ring-turned pedestal, raised on a tripod cabriole base terminating in exaggerated scrolled legs with upturned terminals all on a black ground. SIZE: 28″ h x 24″ l x 19-1/4″. CONDITION: Painted and lacquered surfaces original with soiling and dry paint losses to pedestal.
