LOUIS XV STYLE MARBLE TOP COMMODE.

Second half 19th century, France. The breschia marble top with three quarter splash guard and shelf, all with molded edge fitted to the base of two aligned short drawers over three long drawers, each with raised molded central panel fitted with foliate cast-brass handles and escutcheons. The case ends each with fielded panel raised on frontal foliate carved legs with scroll feet applied with volutes. The case comprised of oak primary with walnut veneers. SIZE: Overall: 41″ h. Work surface 33″ h x 51″ l x 21-1/2″ d. CONDITION: The marble top and splash guard are now affixed with glue, surfaces retain old if not original finish, cleaned, hardware original, otherwise structurally very good.
