TWO QUEEN ANNE CANDLESTANDS AND SHERATON CHERRY WOOD WASHSTAND.

Late 18th/early 19th century, New England. 1) Birch Queen Anne candlestand with tripartite cabriole legs, urn turned shaft and square top. Branded “Z Parker”. 2) Mahogany round dish top tilting candlestand. Tripartite base with cabriole legs on pad feet. Shaft urn-turned with spiral-carved urn and baluster shaft, with associated top. 3) The two tiered washstand with ball-turned feet and pleasing turnings. Drawer incorporated in lower tier and dovetailed scrolled surround and back splash. Top is not cut for bowl. SIZE: 1) 25-1/2″ t x 16-1/2″ sq top. 2) 26-1/2″ t x 21-3/4″ dia. 3) 37-3/4″ h x 18-1/2″ w x 16-1/4″ d. PROVENANCE: Estate of Siro R. Toffolon of Old Lyme, CT. CONDITION: 1) Very good, aggressively refinished. 2) Refinished and some fading to top. 3) Very good with somewhat old and degraded shellacked surface. 49476-119 (75-100) – Lot 2551
