LOT OF QUIMPER PLANTERS, THREE IN THE FORM OF DUCKS.

Lot to include: 1) 11-1/2″ high duck planter with Bretonne on chest, signed “HB Quimper” on the side and marked on base “HB Quimper France 336 4″ (circa 1930). 2 & 3) Pair of 7-1/4” high duck planters with Bretonnes on chest, one signed below “HB Quimper”; both signed on base “HB Quimper France 336”. 4) 4″ high x 9″ long shoe planter with Breton and Bretonne decoration, marked “HB” on base (circa late 19th century). 5) 8-3/4″ high x 8-3/4 wide moon shaped planter with upside down heart opening, set on four blue feet and having decoration of Breton and Bretonne on front and flowers on rear. Mark on base is “Henriot Quimper France” (circa 1920s-1930s). SIZE: Sizes as noted above. PROVENANCE: From a private New Jersey collection; CONDITION: 1)Very minuscule glazed chip to beak, otherwise very good. 2 & 3) Very good. 4) Very good to excellent, only minor roughness at base edges. 5) Appears that the tip at the top edge has been retouched, otherwise very good to excellent. 51150-1 (800-1,200) – Lot 2544
