RARE SHERATON MAHOGANY TWO DRAWER STAND.

Mid 19th Century, possibly South Carolina. Rectangular top with applied spool molded decoration above the conforming case fitted with a bank of two drawers with figural mahogany facing and original turned knobs, the whole with spool-and bobbin-turned moldings, the case with turned pendant finials. Raised on slender spool-turned supports, joined to a medial shelf, scrolling pierced decoration at the ends raised on trestle base with rolled feet joined by bobbin-turned stretcher. SIZE: Height: 30″ Width: 20-1/2″ Depth: 18-1/4 CONDITION: Table retains original surface. Top with small areas of staining. Structurally very good. 49922-73 (1,200-1,800) – Lot 2541
