LOT OF THREE DANISH SILVER SERVING SPOONS.The lot comprised of two 18th century spoons with assayer marks of Peter Nicolai Von Haven and Christopher Frabritius, each about 7-3/4″. Together with an 11″ early 20th century spoon with twist handle. Approximately 6.9 troy oz. PROVENANCE: Downeast Maine home, descendant of Knud Rasmussen, famous Danish arctic explorer whose “greatest achievement” was the massive Fifth Thule Expedition (1921–1924) being sold unreserved. CONDITION: 18th century examples with rubbing to the marks, shallow dents in the bowls, and each handle monogrammed. 51323-17 (300-400) – Lot 2522
