Mid 19th century. The spindle back of bobbin-turned design joined to incised cylindrical styles with turned finials joined to shaped flat arms centering a trapezoidal seat with floral needlework cover raised on ring and bobbin turned swelled legs joined by conforming double box stretchers. The armchair is in a William Morris design. SIZE: 37-1/2″ h of back. 18″ h of seat. 22″ w overall. CONDITION: Surfaces with mellow patina. No damage or restoration noted.
