Maine, 1888. A folky and pleasing cut wool hooked rug on burlap with heart in hand motifs on corner and center with flowering vines on an olive green/brown background. In a great palette of colors; reds, greens, blues and variegated wool. Signed on one side PH 88. SIZE: 21″ x 42″. CONDITION: Very good with tapes on underside of edges (probably original).
