First half 20th century. 1) A Sarouk with overall foliate design on a plum ground within floral border. 2) A Sarouk mat with seven indigo floral sprays on a plum ground with scrolling blue/black floral main border. 3) A Hamadan scatter rug with stylized floral design on a rose red ground with scrolling floral borders. 4) Northwest Persian scatter rug with a floral poled arabesque central medallion on a madder red ground with polychrome floral vinery with latch hook guard borders centering a scrolling floral main border. 5) Kashan Oriental scatter rug with a floral filled urn beneath a mirhab arch on a terracotta ground within a blue/black main border of scrolling vinery and chrysanthemum blooms SIZE: 1) 1′ 11″ x 2′ 6″. 2) 1′ 11″ x 2′ 4″. 3) 1′ 11″ x 2′ 7″. 4) 1′ 11″ x 2′ 10″. 5) 2′ 3″ x 3′ 1″. PROVENANCE: Maralyn Young estate, Arundel/Falmouth Maine, being sold unreserved.
