Early 19th century, New England. The rectangular hinged top with serpentine front and ovolo corners with contrasting string inlay on the edges above the conforming frieze with oval figured maple panel flanked by similar rectangular panels all within striped inlaid borders raised on tapering cylindrical ring turned reeded legs with turned cuffs and shaped feet.
