*WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 30-06. Standard carbine with 20-3/4″ bbl, ramp front sight, ladder rear sight. Nicely figured wood with grasping groove forearm and handguard, straight stock with carbine butt with trap. SN 414664. CONDITION: Good. Bbl cut to present length and retains about 95% bright original blue. Receiver is a mottled gray, artificially aged. Handguard has a crack at the rear, otherwise the wood is sound and retains most of an old refinish. Buttstock, probably from a musket, has a filled swivel hole.
