*WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 LEVER ACTION MUSKET. Cal. 7.62 Russian. Standard musket with 28″ bbl, pedestal front sight, musket rear sight with handguard. Uncheckered wood with full-length forearm, one bbl band and split front band with bayonet lug. It has straight stock with carbine style buttplate with trap and sling swivels. Right side of the receiver and right side of the buttstock have Russian inspector stamps. SN 234858. CONDITION: Fair to good. Metal retains little original finish with the bbl and receiver a silver-blue-gray color covered with fine surface rust. Handguard has a couple cracks, otherwise the wood is sound with an old hand-rubbed patina. Strong bore with good shine, dark in the grooves. 4-46611 JR305 (800-1,200)
