Cal. 20 ga. 26-1/2″ Special steel bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Chokes marked Imp cyl/modified. Full-length low profile matted ventilated rib with twin ivory beads. Gold-plated sgl selective trigger, auto ejectors, non auto-safety. Stock is RKLT config and checkered in three-point pattern with 14-1/4″ LOP over Browning black plastic buttplate. Stocks are a superb nearly imperceptible early replacement. Round nose forearm checkered in five-point pattern. Receiver is spectacularly engraved with relief ducks in pond in woods scene on right, two quail on bottom, and six pheasants in field and woods scene on left, all surrounded by fabulous leaf and floral scroll engraving. Trigger guard incredibly relief engraved with two rabbits. Gun is housed in tan Browning hard case. PROVENANCE: The Forest R. Marshall Collection. CONDITION: Excellent as lightly field used. Receiver retains 95%+ orig grayed finish. Buttstock and forearm are excellent with minor handling marks and a couple of light impressions on butt, one near back of trigger guard and others near toe. Stocks with some added finish and checkering lightly filled. Bores are excellent, bright and shiny. Bbl retains most of an old expert quality restored finish.
