Last quarter 19th century, American. Each panel beautifully painted with a central polychrome floral rondel flanked by floral sprays continuing to floral rondels each centering a colorful butterfly on a black round within delicate scrolling line borders. The panel set within a border decorated with scrolling flowing vinery. Each panel similarly painted on the reverse. SIZE: 67″ h x 72″ l. CONDITION: Palette remains vibrant with minor abrasion and surface soiling at outer edges of panels from use and handling. We believe this should clean easily with mild detergent or lanolin hand cleaner. Very good overall. 51342-1 (1,500-2,000) – Lot 2453
