CARVED OAK DOUBLE DOOR WARDROBE.

Late 19th early 20th century, American. Crest applied with carved scrolling leaf tips above the molded cornice, the frieze applied with foliate carving over a pair of oak molded doors, each inset with beveled mirror plate. The lower case with a pair of aligned drawers above the foliate carved apron, flanked by carved paw-feet. NOTE: This wardrobe disassembles with metal clips. SIZE: 7′ 8″ h x 52″ w x 19″ d. PROVENANCE: From a Maine/Texas estate being sold unreserved. CONDITION: Structurally very good. Wardrobe has been refinished. Now fitted with shelves.
