Checkered walnut buttstock with cheekpiece and Remington white-line vented pad. Currently mounted with early Leupold 7-2X scope. Brown leather sling. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Generally very good. Numerous hunting bumps and scratches from years of field use. Mechanics are good, as is bore. Optics clear. C&R 2) REMINGTON 12A. SN 478935. Cal. .22 S/L/LR. 22″ rnd bbl, half mag, blue finish, straight grained American walnut stocks with grooved forearm, and hard rubber Remington buttplate. Top of bbl shows model number, 2-line Remington address and patent mark in front of rear sight. Remington trademark and cal mark behind the rear sight. Sights are standard. Lower tang has Remington-U.M.C. logo. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl shows a smooth plum/brown patina overall with traces of blue and sharp markings. Bore is frosty with strong rifling. Receiver shows 40% Blue that is drifting to a plum/brown patina at the carry point. Markings are sharp. Stocks are very good, full sized, and retain a considerable amount of the orig varnish finish.
