Coin finished receiver engraved with setter and pheasants on left, setter with harvested rabbit in his mouth on top, and setter in marsh scene with three ducks on right, all surrounded by well-cut acanthus leaf scroll engraving. Buttstock and forearm are beautiful skip line checkered. Blued steel buttplate. No engraver signature noted. Gold plated trigger. Housed in a Browning tan leather brown case with light wood interior. Orig keys included. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining nearly all orig finish to both wood and metal with minor light field use. Minor handling marks. Bores bright and shiny. Mechanics are crisp.
