*WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 38-72. Standard grade rifle with 24-3/8″ tapered round bbl, replacement rear sight, uncheckered wood, schnable tipped forearm and straight stock with crescent steel buttplate. There are small initials “KSM” stamped on the left side of the lever. SN 22656. CONDITION: About good. No original finish remains. Metal being a silver-brown patina. Wood is sound and retains most of an old refinish. Strong bore, dark in the grooves. Magazine follower is broken and is attached in a bag. 4-46538 JR308 (300-500)
