Coin finished receiver engraved with setter and pheasants on left, setter with harvested duck, and setter in marsh scene with three ducks on right, all surrounded by well-cut acanthus leaf scroll engraving. Buttstock and forearm are beautiful flame grain Walnut. Blued steel buttplate. Engraver initials “A.M.” (Marechal). Gold plated trigger. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining nearly all orig finish to both wood and metal with minor light field use. Minor handling marks. Bore are bright and shiny. Mechanics are crisp.
