First quarter 20th century, American. This life size pine decoy depicting a swan in swimming motion with arched neck. The beak and facial features painted in black and pink. Unsigned and unmarked. SIZE: 26″ h x 34-1/2″ l. CONDITION: The decoy retains early painted surface, body with old shrinkage cracks at seams now stabilized. Beaded eyes appear original.
