Galle banjo vase has scenes of Rio de Janeiro with Corcovado Mountain on one side and Sugar Loaf Mountain on the other, done in amber cameo with trees and palms framing each side, all against a dark frosted background. Cameo decoration is engraved on the side near foot “Rio de Janeiro” and signed on the side in cameo “Galle”. SIZE: 6-7/8″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Brian Bojesen.
