SN 87573. Cal. 12 ga. 5 lb 6.8 oz gun with 25″ bbl having narrow Churchill style rib. 2″ chambers as inlaid in gold on rib. Right bbl marked “Griffin & Howe, Inc.”, left bbl marked “N.Y.C. Made in England”. CYL & IMP-CYL chokes. Double beads. Scalloped boxlock action with case colored finish featuring full coverage arabesque scroll and dragon. Miller single selective trigger, auto ejectors. Splinter forearm and straight hand stock with teardrop points of fancy walnut having hand checkering and nameplate on toeline. LOP: 14-1/8″ to checkered butt. Drop at comb: 1-1/2″; drop at heel: 2-7/8″. Housed in leather covered luggage case having unattached Griffin & Howe label and canvas cover. Case contains cleaning rod, oil bottom, snap caps and key. CONDITION: Nicely restored shotgun. Bbls have nearly all of their reblackened finish with bright bores having plastic fouling forward of chambers. Action has very good re-case colored finish.
