*SCARCE A.H. FOX A GRADE 16 GA SHOTGUN.SN 302282. Cal. 16 ga. 27-7/8″ Chromox fluid steel bbls. 2-1/2″ chambers. Chokes Full/Full. Full length matted top rib with steel front bead. #4 weight. Dbl triggers, extractor, auto safety. Capped pistol grip buttstock checkered in two-point pattern with 14-1/8″ LOP over orig lined HRBP. Buttstock has been broken through the wrist with three pins holding it together on right side. Splinter forearm with Deely release checkered in two-point pattern. Receiver is nicely engraved in typical Philly A grade pattern and marked “Ansley H. Fox”. Weight: 6 lbs. 1 oz. CONDITION: Very good as found, except for buttstock as noted above. Bbls retain approximately 75% lightly toned orig blue. Receiver retains approximately 30-35% orig case color. Engraving is sharp. Forearm is very good, with about half the orig finish remaining. Buttstock with damage and repair as noted above, is orig and retains about half of orig finish. Mechanics are very good, gun is nice and tight. Bores are bright and shiny.
