*L.C. SMITH 20 GA FIELD GRADE SHOTGUN.SN 10727. Cal. 20 ga. 26″ Armor steel bbl with 2-1/2″ chambers. Full length matted top rib with brass front bead. Dbl triggers, extractor, three-position auto safety. Capped full pistol gripped buttstock checkered in two-point pattern with 14″ LOP over ridge serrated lined HRBP. Field grade frame stamped “L.C. Smith” on both sides. Splinter forearm checkered in three-point pattern, with scarce Curtis push button release. Weight: 5 lbs. 15 oz. With Marlin Arms Co. Factory letter indicating, field Grade, 20 Gauge 26 inch barrels Plain ejector, regular frame and shipped from the factory Dec,22 1913. CONDITION: Very good and sound. Bbls retain 85-90% toned orig blue finish. Buttstock and forearm are sound and excellent with scattered scratches and hunting bumps throughout and retain 70-80% orig varnish.
